Why we do this
Bulgaria is facing a reality that can no longer be ignored. Our population has declined from 8.9 million to 6.4 million over four decades – a drop of nearly 30%. Over 250,000 job positions remain unfilled. Clinics, hotels, salons, and shops struggle with the same challenge every day: delivering fast, accurate, and professional service to their customers – with fewer and fewer people available to provide it.
Meanwhile, in Western Europe, AI technologies are already transforming the way businesses serve their customers. In Denmark, 42% of companies use AI. In Bulgaria – just 8.55%. This gap isn't technological – it's one of access. The mission of DenixLabs is to close it. Denis Zahariev
A full-stack developer and AI engineer with over 8 years of experience in the software industry. My passion for artificial intelligence started long before AI became a trending topic – I trained my first models while still in high school. Those early experiments led me to a Bachelor's programme in Artificial Intelligence at Radboud University in the Netherlands, where I immersed myself in machine learning, natural language processing, and intelligent systems.
Today, I'm back in my hometown of Sofia with a dream: to build meaningful, safe, and reliable AI solutions that help businesses and society. DenixLabs is that dream, turned into reality.
